Hi there, I'm Buttons!
I'm a sweet, shy girl looking for the perfect home to call my own. How did I end up at the RSPCA you say? Well let me tell you. I was surrendered with 5 other siblings, we were living at a property with lots of other dogs and not being treated the best. We all arrived very skinny and very frightened. I may be 7 months old but I have had little to no life experience. I have lived my life in a back garden up until now, so please keep in mind that living in a home, human attention and love is still very new to me.
My confidence is at an all time low and I'm hoping my new family will help guide me in the right direction and show me how much potential I have.
I have a lot to learn and lot of experiences to be had. My new family will need to take things very slow with me and understand that novice items and experiences will need to be taken very slowly and positively. I am super food driven and absolutely LOVE treats. This will make it so easy for my new family to practise basic training with me and teach me some manners. I will need to go to a home that is quiet, calm and consistent. Somewhere where I can easily relax and make myself at home. My new family will need to keep my active mind busy with enrichment while out at work, this will not only help keep me busy but also learn some independence. I would prefer nice quiet and relaxing walks, over the hustle and bustle of busy dog parks and places. I'm social with other dogs and would like to have some appropriate doggie friends in the future, I could also potentially live with another social male dog pending a meet. At this stage I will need to go home to an adult household only with no kids, this is due to my timidness. I'm such a sweet little girl, I really just need the chance to gain some confidence and trust in my new home.
