Hiya! I'm Shorty. I may be short but I have a BIG personality! I love to play with my human foster parents, dog foster brother and anyone else really! I'm also a big snuggle bug and love to cuddle in and have my belly tickled! I'm on my way to being completely house trained, mainly going out to the grass but if necessary inside on a puppy pee pad! I would suit a home with an older, playful dog for company or where someone is home with me as I do pine for company if left alone. I'm a total heart stealer! I'd like to learn some basic obedience training but as so far I'm not particularly food oriented, pats and toys will need to be my rewards for doing the right thing.

With rescued pups, it's always difficult to know what size we'll grow to, so the size indicated in my listing is an estimate.

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me "no" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.
