About Mummy Bun
Hi there! I'm Mummy Bun. It's not the most exciting name, I know, but I'm a bunny and I'm also a mummy so it's pretty appropriate.
Don't worry, I've been desexed now so no more babies for me! Last year I had several litters of babies in a very short space of time - more than 12 babies in just a few months (they don't say ""breeding like rabbits"" for nothing!)
Then my human family didn't want me or any of my bunny family anymore and they were going to drown us. Fortunately we were rescued before that could happen and I've been in a lovely foster home ever since. Sadly due to poor living conditions and lack of food, many of my babies didn't survive. But I came through just fine and now I'm all ready for my new forever home!
In foster care, I have been around kids and other animals - it's important to remember though, that rabbits are small and vulnerable animals who can easily be frightened or physically injured by over-excited kids so a home where my primary care-giver is someone calm, sensible and responsible is very important.
I'm used to the noises of barking dogs and I'm familiar with cats coming and going around me - all in all I'm a very relaxed, calm, human-social bunny who enjoys attention and love.
Rabbits are definitely not suited to being put in a cage and left to our own devices. We are intelligent, friendly critters who have our own personalities and traits and can become a big part of your family.
With an appropriate bonding process, I would be likely to do very well as a companion for another bunny - or I can live on my own.
I'm not a shy, fading-wallflower type - I'm an inquisitive, friendly girl who can't wait to begin my new life.
If you would like me to join your family, please get in touch today! :)
