About Connor. Melbourne
Three-and-half-year old Connor is a bit of a heartthrob. He has a gorgeous, friendly face and a unique tiger-like tail. A red fawn, he cuts quite a dashing figure around other dogs.
He’s a very active young lad and loves a bit of a run-around. He’s full of beans, especially when there’s visitors, whether they’re canine or human! Like all greys however, he’s a big softie at heart and loves nothing more than a morning cuddle and some downtime with his collection of toys.
Connor would prefer living with another dog, however he’d be all too happy with plenty of human company. He’s a striking, confident, gregarious young hound who is guaranteed to melt your heart.
Connor has not been tested with cats

Adoption details
Dogs are pack animals and Greyhounds, in particular, are very familiar with being surrounded by other dogs in their racing kennel environment. For this reason, when left alone without people or other dogs for company, they can be prone to separation anxiety which can manifest in destructive and/or noisy behaviour. Yes, they may "grow out" of it after a few weeks in their new home, but why put the dog through that stress to ultimately live all day alone, while everyone is at work? As a result we do not rehome dogs into households where they are left on their own for more than 4 hours per day, without either people or another dog for company.
