💙 Hi! My name is MARLIN!
You might confuse me with being part bat, part dog (Bat-Dog) with my super cool ears that stick up when I run, lay down or have my head back, plus I’ve been told I have the most amazing eyes. 😊

I’m a super-dooper loveable dude (if I must say so myself)… I’m friendly with other dogs and enjoy socialising and I love spending time with my foster Mumma and Papa inside the house watching them cook dinner while Chillin’ like a Villain out on the tiles (I’ve not had any accidents inside and am very house trained!).

I love long walks where my ears can flap in the wind and playing tug-o-war with my rope toys in the backyard. I’ll even bring the rope to you to play with me, its much more fun with someone on the other end.

I am not your typical pup-star, like most big kids, I think I’m only about 2ft tall and bullet proof, and I show my affection by giving licks and like to be patted and shown lots of praise. (who wouldn’t love those things!? Right! 😉 )

Even though I’m a big boy, I am soft and squishy like a marshmallow… I love to be close to you for snuggles and enjoy the finer things in life like spending time with my hoomans. I have been around kids when I was a little pup and enjoyed long walks on the beach with my family. I was also socialised and enjoyed playing with other dogs, so if you have a friendly fur-brother or fur-sister for me to spend my days with, I would be forever grateful.

Of course, like the other cool dogs on the block, I love to eat brisket bones, although I’m not super fussed on treats, I much prefer pats and belly scratches. I can cry a little when I get put to sleep outside on my bed, but that’s only for a minute because I miss my humans and apparently I’ve been pretty spoilt being inside. I do settle though and have been told I sleep like a log…

My skin colour is pale around my cute little nose, mouth, chest/tummy and parts of my paws, so you will need to make sure you keep an eye on me in the long term to make sure I don’t get any sunburn. My skin can be a little sensitive sometimes, so the awesome vet lady recommended soothing oatmeal baths and plenty of cuddles to make sure I’m ok… I can’t complain about that advice. 😊

I have been described by my foster family, and passers by on my walks as a beautiful boy, super affectionate, empathetic, sweet, and easy to have around.

I’m an adventurer, inquisitive, love to sniff new places and can sit on command. I’m learning to lay down on command, but haven’t quite worked out why my foster Mumma and Papa want me to shake paws with them… If you can work it out for me that would be great!

I’m looking for my furever home, with another doggie brother or sister for company and to play with. I have always been an inside and outside dog since I was little, so a family who lets me be around them inside would be the best present ever! If you love to get outside and play with me, walk me regularly and take me on adventures, I would be so thankful and in return will love you unconditionally, give you plenty of licks and cuddles and I promise to be the best new pup addition to your family that you ever hoped for…
