Hey, I am Ava and I have found myself in a position where I need to search for a forever family, the ladies at AdoptADane assured me they will find me the perfect fit who will give me time and patience to settle in. I can be rather weary around new people, and prefer to sniff from a distance and approach you in my own time. Once I have realised that you are nice, I will gladly interact with you. I can take a bit longer to relax around men, but otherwise with a small amount of time, I will be your best friend.

I am in care with another male dog and we love to play, so I would LOVE a home with a fur brother. I am a playful girl, so I do need a playful brother. If I was to be an only dog, I would need someone who is home a lot as I can get a bit stressy being home alone without a doggy companion. I have met kids, and I get a long well as long as they are calm and respectful, being that I am a bit noise phobic at first, loud kids can be very overwhelming for me. I used to live with a cat, so as long as my new home can keep the cat separate and do gradual introductions, that should be fine.

Due to my size, the standard 5 foot minimum fencing applies to keep me safe.
