Monkey

Hello, my name is Monkey, but I am also known as Monkey man or Monkey Moo. I was surrendered to the shelter through no fault of my own, and am now looking for quite a specific, dedicated home to call my own! I came here with a nasty skin condition that hadn't been treated. The cattery staff, foster carers and vet team have put lots of time and love into finding out what is causing me to be so itchy! After many weeks and trials, I am on a special allergy diet (which I will need to stay on) and am feeling fabulous, if I do say so myself! Now onto the fun stuff! I am a very cheeky young man, I am known here as a 'turtle cat'. This means that I prefer to hide under my bed than in it, and am INCREDIBLY good at finding random places to nap. I love to spend time with people, I even enjoy sleeping in the human bed! Sometimes I become so affectionate that I feel the need to give you a little love bite to show you how much I love you! Living with other pets will be tricky, given that I cannot eat food other than my special stuff, so ideally I would live on my own. Gentle, patient children would be fine though. I am only young so I LOVE to play and will need to be given lots of things to do in my new home. If you think your home is purr-fect for me, I would love to meet you!
