Hey there, I'm beautiful Marli and I'm hanging out at the shelter while I wait for my new family to come and take me home.

As well as my gorgeous looks I also have a very sweet personality to match!

When I first arrived here I was very very shy and a bit scared of new people but with lots of love and encouragement I now get excited to see the shelter staff each day.

I will need a family who'll be patient with my while I get used to them and my new home and allow me to grow in confidence in my own time. Once I'm settled in my new home I'll the most loyal and loving companion.

I've met some doggos since being here and I much prefer quiet dogs who aren't bouncing around me as bouncing dogs make me a bit defensive and uncomfortable. If you already have a pooch friend at home for me please bring them in to meet me so I can give them my sniff of approval.

Due to my quiet nature it's best if I don't go to a home with small children as they may accidently scare me. A nice quiet home is the place for me.

I would love a big daily stroll around the neighbourhood and I've been told I walk very well on the lead but do need some reassurance when going to new places.

I wouldn't like to go to a home with a kitty cat as I'm a bit scared of them.

I can already sit on command and love my treats so training with positive food rewards should have me learning some new doggie manners in no time.
