About Rosie
Rosie is a bright, affectionate and outgoing girl who will make an awesome close companion pet for a special family. She is very devoted to her humans and likes to be close to you. She will best suit a home where she can live as an inside dog and enjoy lots of cuddles on the lounge.
She is well behaved inside, toilet trained, travels well in the car,is good to groom and good at the Vets. She is in very good condition and the Vet thought she was a much younger dog.She loves her daily walks and is eager to go out twice a day. She is dog social and happy to meet calm dogs at the park. In the home environment she does like to be the boss, meaning she likes to keep the other dogs in the house in line and will growl at them if they get in her space. As a result we feel she will be best suited as an only dog so she can rule the roost.
She looks like a Pomeranian Cross Maltese. Her coat appears to be non shedding so will need regular clipping at the grooming salon. She weights just over 5kg .
Rosie does not particularly enjoy young children and looses patience with them after a few pats at which time she will growl at them but has never bitten. She is happy for adults to cuddle her all day. As a result she will best be suited to an adult only home.
Rosie was still available for adoption on 8th April. If you can give Rosie a wonderful loving home, please email answers to the following questions or call Robyne on 0411069622:
Number of people who live in the home and their ages?
Do all adults work full time?
How many hours per day would the dog be left alone?
Do you own the home or renting?
Will the dog live outside or inside the home?
If inside, will he have full access to the house or only allowed in certain rooms?
Where will the dog sleep at night?
How often will the dog be taken for a walk?
How long are the walks ie 15minutes,30minutes,1 hour?
Are there any outings or activities the dog will be included in other than walks?
Are there any other dogs currently in the house? If yes, what breed?
If not, when did you last own a dog and what breed was it?
How regularly will the dog be clipped?
What food do you like to feed your dog?
Medical notes
Rosie has just had a "Dental" (teeth cleaned under anesthetic).
The Vet was very happy with her condition and thought she looked like a much younger dog.She has had a Health Check and everything is good ie Heart, eyes, ears etc
