About Lili - special foster carer needed

PLEASE DO NOT BE OVERWHELM WITH WHAT IS NEEDED. SHE IS NOT A DESTRUCTIVE, AGGRESSIVE, A BARKER OR DOES SHE NEED TO BE WALKED ATM. SHE NEEDS PEACE, QUIET TO ALLOW HER TO IMPROVE AT HER OWN PACE AND A FRIENDLY DOG. SHE REQUIRES MEDICATIONS TO BE GIVEN TO HER DAILY.
We NEED a very special foster carer for this very beautiful girl timid Lili who is one of the 110 GLADSTONE DOGS
You need the ability to provide a calm, caring, quiet and nurturing home where Lili is able to learn to trust and feel safe to explore. Give Lili the space she needs, talk to her softly and encourage her achievements.
Must be willing to work closely with our behaviouralist, give medication and follow management plan given .
Cats are ok and a calm but playful dog is needed, preferably Lili’s size or smaller.
Must be also able to separate to allow time to herself.
Sorry not children and must have a very quiet house hold.
Although this will be a challenge and an ongoing project, it will be so rewarding to know you have give Lili the chance to know life is good not like her first 4 yrs of hell.
Lili is a very anxious and very unsure of humans, although she is starting to show small signs in inquisitiness and wanting to know more.
She doesnt really know how to play like a normal dog, she doesnt know that humans can provide love and not to be feared.
She needs someone who is home quite aLOT with very secure fencing but a backyard that she can relax in her own space.
She is very much interested in interacting with dogs and no reactions to cats.
You will need patience, time, peace and commitment and know that it will be a slow journey.

Is very timid and currently under the care of a behaviouralist, she is also on medication to help with her anxiety
Adoption details
VBTR places all dogs in a foster care agreement, before moving forward on adoptions. All foster applications received will be assessed and those that meet the needs of the dog will have house & suitability checks. From there, approved applicants will have the opportunity to foster with a view to adopt. Most go onto be ‘foster fails’ and adopt these beautiful bullies. VBTR work tirelessly to ensure successful foster to adopt placements for the benefit of both dogs and humans alike! Bully Buddies are assigned to every dog support this process.
