Hi my name is Dusty, I’m a beautiful fawn girl. I’m house trained, I know how to sit, I take food gently but I do need to go to obedience school.
I’m very boisterous with other dogs which can often be taken the wrong way but after I’ve been to obedience school it will teach me some manners.
I can be dominant over young children and jump up which is why I wont suit a home with young children, teenagers might be OK as long as they don’t tease me because that would make me get over excited.
I love to play, I pull on the lead which is another reason why I need to go to obedience school.
I had my behaviour assessment which went well. There are some notes below.
Adoption Criteria
• Experienced and active dog owners only
• Would make a great running or hiking partner
• Nil young children
• Obedience training an absolute must!
• Not tested with cats.
So if you think you can offer me a good forever home where you’ll be able to give me all the above in return I will give you all the love and loyalty you could ask for!

and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan at jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every week to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
