Hello, I am Riley! I was brought to the shelter by a member of the public, who found me with lots of other cats and kittens in a colony in Canberra. At first I was very scared, not understanding why people were being so nice to me. Sometimes I am still unsure, but have come to the realisation that I LOVE pats and affection! Why did I never know this before?! I enjoy kneading while you pat me, and I have developed the habit of dribbling when I am very happy. I consider myself to be on my 'L plates' when it comes to finding a home, it is unlikely that I have ever lived inside a happy, warm home given my history. I am seeking an experienced family who have had cats before, who can balance out my inexperience and teach me how lovely a home can be! I don't feel as though I am ready to live with children, but another feline friendly cat may help me become more confident, if a slow introduction is carried out.
