About Maggie
'maggie is a wonderful playful pup. She gets along great with her sister maddie (who she hasn't seen in seven months), and also her other foster sister. She is not as active as a kelpie, and more laid back than the border collie, but she is still active. She really thrives on human attention, and would do well on her own or with another doggy friend. I have taught her sit, drop, shake hands, and roll over all within a week of having her, so she is very intelligent. She will sit and wait at the corner to cross the road - on a leash of course. Maggie is just getting into the idea that she can swim in water. She doesn't go in far, but its far enough for her. She walks well off leash, doesn't go far from your side, and always comes when called. She answers to her name as maggie, but we have had to make a slight change to it as the dogs that i have were getting confused with their names. Already having a matty, maddie and maggie is a bit of a tongue twister!. . . So we have been calling her meg. She isn't too fazed about our cat, but if the cat runs she will chase her. She loves the car, and playing tug-o-war. Maggie is good inside, and will rub her head into your lap for a pat. She will need a brush about once a week to keep her coat nice and shiny
