Peggy

If you look at our website regularly peggy may look really familiar. She has never been in foster care with us before but we are positive that ruby and roobeedoo (two former foster dogs) are her sisters. Can you see the similarities too?

peggy has had a really tough life and, to be honest, she was given a chance at rescue purely because she looked so much like her sisters. Ruby and roobeedoo were both beautiful dogs with fabulous temperaments and we had to give peggy a chance to show more than the scared, unhappy little dog we saw in the pound. She hasn't let us down!

she has been in foster care with trish now for two weeks and she is really blossoming into a great dog. She is affectionate and hysterically funny. She loves to play and flies around the yard at a million miles an hour playing with trish or a foster dog, she has that great staffy smile and even lies down with frog-legs like a staffy - all of this in a little scruffy body!

she only took 24 hours to learn that walking on a lead was great fun and loves going for a long walk. If you're into off-leash walking though you would need to be aware that is probably quite a long way off - she slipped the lead when out walking with trish one day and ran and ran non-stop only stopping to turn around and laugh at trish who couldn't catch her. So typical of peggy who has such a love for life. She has personality plus and the more she discovers that people are kind the more her cheeky personality is really shining through.
