Maxine

Beautiful Maxine is a timid little girl looking for a quiet, mature home to flourish in. She is very nervous here in our shelter and not having a great time. But give her a bit of time to get comfortable with you, and she's a darling. She wags her tail and rolls on her back for tummy rubs. Yes, when you gain her trust, she's a total sweetheart!

Maxine would thrive in a mature, patient home willing to give her time to get comfy with her new environment. She walks well on lead though is cautious of unfamiliar sights and sounds. Her new owner will need to go slow with her and give her plenty of gentle encouragement and praise.

Maxine is intelligent and will figure out what's expected in her new home reasonably quickly, we suspect. She just needs a patient and kind guardian to help her get to that point.
