About Sandy
Hi everyone, this here is little Sandy, a terrier mix who is turning 9 this year.
Sandy is VERY friendly, housetrained and gets along well with the other dogs here. She loves going for walks, getting treats, but most of all, loves her belly scratches and cuddles.
Sandy has a few health ailments as described below, but aside from that, she is happy, content and loves life.
Sandy has no anxieties and is a great little watch dog. She would best suit someone who can give her undivided love and affection inside the home, if children are present they must be respectful and although not necessary, she does love being with the other dogs for company. She is a wonderful companion.

Unfortunately, Sandy has mammary lumps. They have not been tested, but whether they are benign or malignant, they need to come out. We will not test the lumps prior to operation, as they are sore and the extra poking and prodding is unnecessary
This will happen once we fundraise the money for her, as it is a very expensive operation. Sandy will then need somewhere quiet to go, and someone to love her. If she hasn't been adopted come the time, we will do it here, but hoping that special family comes forward to take her on, before that day.
These lumps may return and she may need further surgeries in the future, but at SEQAR we are happy to help fundraise these costs, or even put the charges through the rescue so it is a bit cheaper, BUT, best case scenario, we get her the initial surgery and they never return! (I know 2 dogs recently who have had major surgeries like this and the lumps have not returned) so it is possible!

Adoption details
All animals come with a 7 day trial period (this is negotiable depending on case by case differences, and will be discussed accordingly with anyone having queries)
After this time, and knowing that both the family and pet are happy together, the adoption will be finalized.
If an animal is to be returned for whatever reason during this 7 day period, a 10% (of the adoption price) administration fee will be taken out of the refund. Animals returned after this time, unfortunately forfeit the adoption price.
We are mostly located in Jimboomba on the outskirts of logan, around 30-45 mins south of Brisbane, although some animals can be in care throughout the greater Brisbane region.
