I'm Bear and I'm looking for a new family to call my own.

What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• I do get bored and a bit destructive when I'm left on my own so I really want a family who already has a doggie playmate for me.
• I like both male and female dogs however I will initially try and act tough and bark at them. Other dogs sometimes get crabby at this so I am best suited to a home with a super social doggo who will see through this façade. Additionally further socialisation with other dogs and doggy daycare classes would be super beneficial.
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• A diet of good quality dry food to help keep my teeth clean
• Lots of love and attention
• Happy to live with children
• Regular grooming so I'm always looking my best

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard for long periods of time
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Cats, rabbits, guinea pigs & livestock

My best features:
• LOVE people, very playful, gentle, wiggle butt
• I can sit, shake hands and drop
• I walk well on lead
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• I love toys and may be suited to agility classes

ANY EXISTING DOGS AT HOME MUST COME TO THE SHELTER TO MEET BEAR BEFORE AN ADOPTION CAN BE APPROVED
