About Nova
This sweet young lady is Nova
Nova is a very happy outgoing girl, very playful She is proving to be clever and is quite please with herself when she receives praise from her foster mum. She has already learnt to sit for her dinner and treats and has worked out the routine of the day.
while she has been in foster care, Nova has been spending a lot of time indoors to help her learn and understand what being a part of a family is all about.
She is fully toilet trained but will sometimes accidentally wee when she gets over excited.
Nova has only recently ventured out into the big wide world and she loves it! At this stage she is still learning about the leash and her carer is now taking her on regular walks and visits to the park so she will quickly learn that the lead means there are exciting adventures ahead!
Nova is loving her time at the park and meeting new dogs and people. She will go and say hi straight away for a pat or treat. She has already worked out who has the treats and who hasn’t.
Her foster mum has done an amazing job in preparing Nova for her new home. She is learning lovely manners and she now does her best to do what her carer asks of her. She has excellent recall and comes back when called. She is very well behaved. She is also very good in the car and looks forward to her social outings.
Continued training and regular outings will be a great way for Nova to continue learning and to offer her lots of stimulation. She loves learning new things and thrives on new challenges.
***Nova has pale skin, she will require regular sunscreen applications to prevent her fair skin from being sunburnt***
Considering Nova's breed, she could be prone to anxiety/separation anxiety. For this reason, she is only suited to a family who already has a mature, desexed MALE dog for Nova to share her life with. Nova is quite energetic and bouncy. Her perfect companion will be a boy of similar size who can match her energy levels and enjoys his playtime and games. Nova loves Boston, the resident dog in her foster home and happily follows him wherever he goes.
Nova will be well suited to a home with a good sized, secure yard and a place where she will be offered an indoor/outdoor lifestyle so she can feel like a very important family member.
Nova has never been introduced to cats so a slow, supervised introduction is recommended.
This adorable girl is ready and waiting for her new chapter to begin. We look forward to hearing from you if you believe your home meets Nova's needs
Currently in care in Bentleigh East
Medical notes
Nova will be due for a booster vaccination on 5/4. This will be covered by us if arrangements can be made for Nova to be taken to one of our partner vets.
This can be discussed further upon application

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
