Scratch

Oh my goodness, I’m not sure I can do this guy justice. He is quite simply a beautiful, soulful gentleman. I love him so much, and in another life, he would stay with me forever. But, in order for him to live his best life, Scratch needs his own family. Life here is too busy.
Scratch was surrendered for euthanasia to a rural pound by his owner. The Rangers contacted me to ask if I could take him.....the next day I drove the three and a half hours to collect him.
The poor boy was literally being eaten alive by fleas! He had an awful flea allergy, with lots of fur gone from scratching, his skin was hot with infection, and his teeth broken from constant chewing.
So immediately off to the vet, where he was commenced on oral anti-itch medication, and given a flea treatment. He has also had medicated baths.
Scatch’s life improved immediately. No scratching at all. No fleas. No infections. Just good food, comfy beds and a lot of love. He is the most loving of dogs......very grateful for his new happy life. He is quiet and easy, completely toilet trained and gets on well with the other dogs here. His main love however is his human. He loves to be able to see me, and follows me everywhere.
He loves a walk. Loves a ride in the car.
Scratch ideally wants his new family to be a quiet one, where someone is home most of the time. He would rather any children to be older please.
We are located in Moree, northern NSW. We do have daily flights to Sydney and beyond, which are easy to arrange at new owners cost.
