Hi, I’m Hamley! I’m a 2.5 year old chunk of a guinea pig looking for a forever home with my new best bud. I was surrendered to Qld Guinea Pig Refuge two weeks ago after my best buddy passed away and I’m getting very sad waiting for a new friend. Unfortunately the boys here don’t get along with me so I’m hoping my new best bud might see this!
I’m a big snuggle bug and want nothing more than your love, attention and treats. Since being at QGPR and eating healthy food I’ve lost some weight but am still a big boy. I‘m great with kids as long as they’re big enough to handle me safely. If you can offer me a forever home with a new best bud, I’m all yours!
Adoption details
Qld Guinea Pig Refuge is located at Bracken Ridge, North Brisbane.
The adoption fee for our guinea pigs is $20 each. Desexed guinea pigs are $30 each. They come fully health checked; worm and mite treated; and have been living at their foster carer’s house where they receive handling time.

Qld Guinea Pig Refuge is a guinea pig shelter dedicated to helping mistreated, abused, and unwanted guinea pigs in Queensland. To ensure they live a happy and healthy life, our guinea pigs are rehabilitated under our no euthanasia policy and then adopted under our strict adoption policy.
