Petey

Oh, um, hello! My name is Petey! Can you be my lucky 3rd charm? I arrived with my siblings, who were more confident than me and have since been adopted. I've been adopted twice, but my shy nature makes me more of a work in progress. My 3rd (and forever) family will require the following; oodles of patience, a heart the size of a hot-air balloon, minimal expectations, and plenty of fun up their sleeve once I'm ready! A safe, warm hidey with lots of delicious food will benefit me in the initial settling in period. In return, I will show you the sweet feline I can be, I just really want that slow-burning relationship to get to know you. I've tried to be brave in this stressful shelter, and I really want to be brave when I go home with strangers, but with SO much change recently, I find the first few days/weeks with new people really scary. I'm really wishing for a Mum/Dad who will allow my personality to blossom at my own pace. I have lived quite well and politely with other felines here, and could likely do so again with a feline-friend provided we have slow and proper introductions to allow us time to settle in/get to know each other.
