About Aria 💜
This sweet natured, long legged beauty is on the search for her Forever home....Aria is a mix of Great Dane x Mastiff and one affectionate little lady.
Her foster home consists of 3 host dogs (small and large), her brother Deagan, cats, birds, young children visiting regularly, and of course her foster mum. She is learning the routine and follows simple instructions well. Aria will sit on command, walks well on lead and working hard at toilet training. With consistency and effort, she will have this perfected in no time.
Aria enjoys rumbling with her brother and host buddies, playing with her toys and pleasing her humans. Strange noises and new environments do tend to make her a little nervous, so she will need lots of reassurance and time to adjust to her new surroundings.
Due to Aria's size/breed, we will be allowing her to be re-homed under a desex agreement. This will mean that Aria must be returned to one of our approved vets on the Central Coast for desexing, no later than 12th June 2019 (6 months old). We have consulted a number of vets who have all confirmed this is an appropriate age for the breed/size. For this reason, there will be no interstate adoptions and we will be ideally looking for a home on the Central Coast.
As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Aria will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that she grows up to be a well mannered and socialised girl. We believe that she will be a large dog when fully grown. She is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment we’re sure she will grow to be an extremely loyal, well mannered adult.
We would love to help get you started with training, so our amazing supporters, Best Friends - Erina, have kindly offered to include a 5 week Puppy training course with all of our Puppy adoptions (up to 16wks of age)....The Best Friends Puppy Pre-School service is a fun and interactive five-week training course that covers puppy behaviours, diet, health, grooming, exercise and play, with an emphasis on socialisation, command training, health and care. Their aim is to teach you positive ways to train your puppy in basic skills such as ‘sit’, ‘drop’, ‘stay’, and how to walk well on a lead, but also how to control your puppy’s not so desirable behaviours like toileting inside, biting, mouthing and separation anxiety.
Aria would be best suited to a home where she had the company of her humans or another doggie companion. She will need a medium to large yard with secure height appropriate fencing. Due to her size, we would recommend children over the age of 8 years.
Aria is located in Bateau Bay, on the Central Coast NSW and looking forward to meeting you!

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
