Delilah

Hey there! I’m Delilah & I’m a 2 & a halfish year old female Kelpie.

When you first meet me, you'll be overwhelmed by my good looks and smarts, so much so you'll struggle to resist my charm.

I love having a foster dog friend of similar age to me, we love to wrestle and chase each other around and we love each other's company! He loves fetch, I haven’t learnt it yet but I do love to chase after him and the ball, we call this game fetchy-herdy! He made me feel safe when I first arrived at my foster home and he's helped me be comfortable in a strange place.

I’ve met 4 foster cousins whilst in care too including a young puppy and I was very happy around them all (they are Kelpies like me). So having another dog in my life would be Pawfect!

I’m learning the basic commands like sit and stay but I’ll need further training if you choose me to be your best friend (my foster mum says I am very clever though and if she says “cuddle” I gently jump up and lean on her for a pat and cuddle!), I do enjoy a good training session though.

I also live with a young human and I think she’s great! From the moment I met her I was in love instantly. Although love at first sight doesn't happen with all, you know what they say, you gotta work for the love sometimes.. the ladies and children make me wag my tail but I feel a little bit uncomfortable around men, so guys you’ll have to be patient with me. I’m worth the wait though as I’m very loyal and kind.

I am an energetic girl, so some kind of dog sport might be right up my alley.

In typical Kelpie style, I’ll need a home that can provide me with mental and physical stimulation.
