Delta

Hi! I am Delta and I am very excited to start my journey to find a forever home. My foster mum sat me down and asked me what type of home would suit me. So here goes....

I am a very sweet and gentle girl however I can get be quite nervy at first, I will need a home to take it slow and let me adjust in my own time. I do take a while to adjust to change. I do love humans but once again, it may take a while for me to warm up. I would love a nice quiet home environment, with not too much craziness. I am currently living with a young human and he is pretty cool, however, I would prefer a home with older children, as much as I love kids, being sensitive to loud and unpredictable things can startle me!

I currently live with another small dog but I am not overly motivated by other dogs, I could take them or leave them. We are happy to share our space not overly fussed on crazy play, so I would like a home with a male dog who isn't searching for a full time wrestling companion, I would prefer a nice chill dog brother who we can spend the day snoozing, otherwise would be ok as an only dog as long as the humans were home a lot. When out and about I am pretty focused on my humans when walking, I will ignore other dogs happily because I just enjoy the time with my human.

I am also ok with cats and birds etc, I am not phased by them at all. I haven't tried to escape, however due to my size 5 foot fencing would be the minimum, just to ensure I won't be tempted by the outside world. I LOVE my food and humans so I am easy dog to train!
