About Elmo
Elmo is a giant goofball that wins the heart of everyone he meets!
He is so full of love and is looking for a forever family that can take him by the paw and show him how amazing life can be.
Elmo has been spending time in foster care where he has flourished. He loves learning new things and has already mastered many tricks such as sit, drop, shake a paw, stay, go to bed and is learning to drop his toys.
Elmo would love a home where his new family share in his interest for training and he learns best when you use positive reinforcement methods because who doesn't love being rewarded for doing the right thing!
If you like to go for lots of fun car trips then Elmo is your guy, he loves sticking his head out the window looking at all the world has to offer him. Elmo can sometimes be a little worried when left alone for long periods of time and his new owners will need to continue to build on this. He would benefit from a home where his humans are home more often than not.
Elmo's foster mum describes him as very unique and special boy that you cant help but love. His goofball nature and puppy personality will keep you laughing for hours. He is best friend material and loves to play fetch and be chased around outside. He loves to carry his teddy around in his mouth when you come home. Once the lights are off he knows its sleep time, he sleeps in the funniest positions ever.
Elmo would love to live with another large playful dog friend and would be best suited to a home without any small animals as he can easily forget how big he is. Elmo will need a home with Adults Only.
**Application Process** When on the Pet Rescue profile push the "enquire about this pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please place information about the home you can provide. Include current/past pets and their breed, children including ages that live with you or visit, and any other information relevant to training/exercise/energy requirements. The information you provide helps us match the dog you've applied for to the most suitable home. We use this information in lieu of an application form. We do not take applications for dogs over the phone. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days. All of our dog meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Campbellfield. The majority of our dogs are in a foster home not at the shelter so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you. www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ...because they all deserve one!
