About Bonnie
Well hi there, I'm Bonnie!
I found myself at Lort Smith when my previous carers could no longer look after me.
Unfortunately I came in with a fractured elbow, but the staff here have done an amazing job at repairing it. I still have a plate and screw in place, and these do not cause me any discomfort. However, there is a chance that it will need further attention in the future. The staff here will be happy to go through all of this with you when you come in to meet me.
My most favourite things to do are, going on walks, exploring new environments and going on daily adventures, playing tug, belly rubs and having cuddles with my human friends!
I am a very intelligent girl, I am eager to please my human friends and learn new skills, so I am looking for an adopter that can continue building upon my already learnt skills. And one that will take me to obedience training classes - maybe even sign me up to participate in some sort of dog sports club, oh boy, that would just be the best!
A home with no other canine friends would be ideal for me at the moment. You see, even though I am very friendly and just want to play, I am a little silly in my approach and need to learn how to politely interact with other canines.
Bonnie is currently in foster care. If you would like to meet her, please schedule a time with our Adoption Hub team on 9321 7240.
Medical notes
I arrived with a fractured elbow, but the staff here have done an amazing job of repairing it. I still have a plate and screw in place, these are not causing me any discomfort. However there is a possibility it will need attention in the future so I will be adopted out with a disclaimer.
