About Buster & Lily
Billy and Lily are the most wonderful little kittens. They came to our clinic after being found as tiny orphans on a building site in Lilyfield. At the time, they were only 4 weeks old and very scared of people. They've since been in foster carer with an amazing carer and her two adult cats for a couple of weeks, and as you can see from the photos, they are now healthy, happy, content and loving little cats, and they absolutely love human company and affection. The future is now bright for Buster & Lily.
Lily, is a female domestic shorthair tabby, the paler colour of the two. She is extremely affectionate and purrs like a motor as soon as you touch her. She will snuggle in your lap and loves cuddles. Buster is slightly shyer than his sister at first, but within about half an hour of knowing you he is your best friend. They are full of beans and adore their foster kitty siblings, and they love playing and charging around the house with them. They also have access to a fully enclosed mesh play area in the courtyard, so they enjoy the sunshine and outdoor play.
Buster & Lily would be best suited to a family who can give them time and patience in the initial introduction period. Within a couple of hours they will be all over you, they just need a bit of patience. In a short while they will be tearing around like they own the place and giving you plenty of love.!
They will be available to a indoor only home or a home with a suitable cat-proof garden. They are joined at the hip so we'd rather not separate them :)
Adoption details
Please contact the clinic and ask to speak with Rosie, our receptionist and cat adoption officer.
All cats and kittens adopted out from Drummoyne Veterinary Hospital MUST go to either an indoor-only home, or a home with a suitable cat-proof outdoor area or enclosure. Our mission is to make Sydney a better place for cats, their families and our precious wildlife. That means responsible re-homing. We want our cats and kittens to go to the safest, most loving of homes. We don't want them exposed to risks such as getting hit by a car, dog attacks, cruelty from people, injury or death from cat fights or dog attacks, or contracting infectious disease. We want them to live a long, happy and healthy life with their families; safe from harm :)
