About Ziggy
Beautiful Ziggy
This gorgeous girl has been living with her original foster carer for the past 2 years as one of their much loved family pets. Tragically this sweet girl needed to come back to Racing 2 Rehome when her beloved owner passed away.
Ziggy is currently living with a new foster carer family and their medium sized dog, where she has been thriving and shown a wonderful zest for life. Her foster mummy feels that it is time for her to find her new forever home.
She is very loving and affectionate, leaning on peoples legs or gently nuzzling their hand for a pat. She is particularly drawn to men and so loved her previous owner.
Ziggy loves to play with balls and squeaky toys and loves the noise and activity of her family around her. She enjoys joining in with all family activities and enjoys travelling in the car.
Ziggy sleeps right through the night and is toilet trained.
Ziggy walks well on the lead and really looks forward to her morning walks.
Ziggy is currently living with 2 children in her foster home and enjoys a snuggle on the couch with her whole foster family.
When Ziggy first came to Racing 2 Rehome she suffered from anxiety and her previous owners were advised to medicate her. She is still currently on this medication under recommendation from our vet that once she is settled in her new home this is something that might be able to be reassessed by a vet.
Ziggy has shown to be very frightened of ceiling fans and this quirk should be considered for her new home.
Ziggy has adapted well to her foster families daily routine. She is such a loving and social dog that she would need company either in the form of another medium to large doggy friend or having her humans home with her for the majority of the time.
Ziggy is not cat friendly so definitely a home with no resident cat is a must for her.
If you think you could give Ziggy her perfect and much deserved forever home please get in contact with us.
Medical notes
Medication at night for her anxiety given in her dinner.
