About Katie
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
Hi, I’m Katie and I was surrendered to the pound by my owner. My foster mum is very puzzled by this because she thinks I am just the purrfect little kitten.
Since coming to stay here I have quickly learnt to use the kitty litter tray, and I stay nice and quiet all night long in my cozy sleeping room. I’m only a little girl and I’m still not too sure about foster mum’s dogs... I don’t like it when they bark at me, but I like to look at them through the window.
I love to play with my toys and to sit on the window sills looking outside, but mostly I love to just hang out with foster mum. She tells me I’m good company for her :-)
I haven’t met any kids yet, but as long as they don’t want to carry me around too much I think I will be ok.
My Ideal Home:
My ideal home would be just like foster mum’s where there is someone home a lot as I love being near her and foster dad. I liked the cats I met at the pound so I reckon it would be ok to have a friend to play with.
What is Known About My Background:
Katie was desexed and vaccinated at the pound prior to being released.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
I’m still not too sure about foster mum’s dogs... her two older ones seem ok, as they used to have a cat sister until a few years ago, but her other dog barks at me and that scares me off.
Adoption details
Applicants will be required to complete and submit an Adoption form from https://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au
HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
