About Jack
Calling all Jack Russell lovers! This great little character is Jack! He really is a typical little Jack Russell; even though he's a mature gentleman, he still has lots of energy and wants to play, walk, and participate fully in the family. Jack loves to be close to his humans (his carer calls it 'supervising'). He enjoys being high up, so likes to sit on the back of the lounge. He does sometimes climb up where he's not supposed to, so needs a bit of reminding not to do that!!
We are informed Jack has been around children in his previous home including the little grandies. He enjoys going out and about and for walks and could do with regular exercise as he could do with shedding a little weight (his lead work does need a little work but being a small dog he does not pose too much of a problem). He does not get under your feet in the home, so should suit either an active senior home, or a family.
Since being in care, Jack has met various small dogs and got along well. He is very playful so may not suit a very old, sedate dog, but others should be fine (has not yet been introduced to larger dogs but we feel he should get along okay if they are social too). He has not been around cats so is untested with them.
Jack is looking for a home where he will be fussed and loved and included in the life of the family. He would love a home where he can keep you company for a good part of the day as he has not been used to being home alone.
Fully house trained and a great companion dog, Jack will make someone a wonderful new addition. He still has a few good years in him yet (JRTs are renowned to have a long lifespan).
We look forward to hearing from you if you are interested in making this happy little chappy a part of your home.
