About Simba
We’re looking for a foster home who needs to be just perfect for a lovely lad called Simba. Simba is turning ten years old this year, and in recent times his home life hasn’t been smoothest sailing, so we’re looking to give him some love, peace, stability and care while we make some future plans for him.
Simba is with us through no fault of his own, and he’s got lots of love to give in the right home environment. He’s known for being gentle and loving with his humans, likes a good chat to tell you all about his day, and adores an ear or fluffy-butt scratch.
He’s got a touch of manageable arthritis in his hips, very much prefers to be an only dog and doesn’t approve of cats, so we’re looking for a foster who can keep that in mind. He loves spending time outside, but the ability for him to move in and out as it suits him is ideal.
Simba would love it if he can get some regular walks, some routine, and some consistency in his life. He has taken on training in the past, but it’s been inconsistent and we know he’d shine with a structured approach. He’s overall a Very Good Boy, who is housetrained, not destructive, and we know he’ll thrive in a calm home with room to breathe and be a husky again.
The usual husky rules apply, with no cats or pocket pets, Simba needs to be an only dog, and high husky-proof fences.
