About Ruby
AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ADOPTION - Will be ready to go to her new home on the 21st March.
Name: Ruby
Breed: English Staffy X American Staffy
Age: 6 weeks
Sex: Female
Dog Friendly: Yes
Child Friendly: Yes - kids over 8 years+
Cat Friendly: Unknown
Toilet Trained: In training
Location: Hervey Bay, QLD
Little Ruby didn't have the best start to life, at only 5 weeks old she was being given away for free on a buy and sell page, the next day she ended up at the pound, thankfully the pound released her to us as duty of care so she didn't need to stay in the pound and endure her nights cold and alone.
Ruby is a sassy little Staffy, she is loud and likes to think she is boss. She will need someone who is happy to provide training and not give in to her gorgeous looks when she doesn't get her way.
Ruby MUST attend puppy pre-school as she will need further socialisation with other dogs and children. She is being crate trained at night by her carer and will also need someone who understands that she will need time to settle in her new home.
Ruby will need a home with a male doggy friend (preferably Staffy or similar size) to play with.
Medical notes
Ruby has/will have the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed
~ 2 x Vaccinations (C3 & C5)
~ Microchipped
~ All-Wormed
~ Flea Treated
Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
