❌❌🐶🐱URGENT NEED FOR FOSTER CARERS?🐱🙈❌❌❌
Do you LOVE animals? do you want to SAVE a life, can you provide, love, food, shelter and cuddles for animals? THEN READ ON.
What does a foster carer do?
-Provide a safe place for said animal to stay (good fenced yard for dogs, cats are inside only, your other animals are okay around new babies, the people in your house all love animals)
-Provide food and water
-Provide kitty litter trays, drink and food bowls, bed and toys if needed
-Provide love, cuddles, play time
-A reliable car
-A cage/carrier/or safe place in your car
-Organise meet and greets (have prospective adoptive parents come to your home and meet the fur baby)
-Take the babies to their vet appointments (All paid for)
-Occasional bathing (if needed)
How long will I have the foster animal for?
-Some animals get adopted within a couple of weeks, some take months, we need foster carers who are in it for the long run, and know you will have step to step support along the way
What kind of pets can I foster?
-Kittens/Cats/Puppies/Dogs
What happens if an animal has behavioural issues?
-Some animals we save from pounds/death row, or past families have been abused, left for dead or have gone through the system for months, some animals require behavioural training, we will never allow a 'dangerous' animal to go to a foster home, we talk to you about your experience, what type of animal you would like, and we find the perfect baby for you to foster (only our very experienced foster carers take on the more 'difficult' animals, so please do not worry that a foster baby could have 'issues')
What is the process of becoming a foster carer?
-Message us
-Fill out pre foster form
-House check
-Pick up your new foster babies!
What is a foster fail?
-A foster fail is when you fall so in love with your foster baby you adopt them yourself! (what a cute love story)
Is it paid?
-No, we are a non for profit shelter, none of our volunteers get paid, we dedicate our time, energy, love, and understanding
-You reward is knowing you are helping save a life
