About Bowie
This handsome boy is Bowie.
Once Bowie has been given time to settle in and realise he is safe with new people and environments, he becomes a friendly, happy-go-lucky boy who is all about having fun.
So far he has shown to be clever and likes receiving praise for being a smart boy and doing his best to listen to what his carer is asking of him.
In his foster home, Bowie is receiving lots of time indoors so he is learning very good 'inside' manners and is catching on to toilet training very quickly. He is even starting to remember to head to the door for the toilet when he is in the middle of a game with his equally cheeky siblings.
Bowie is a typically shy pup who can be a little nervous of new people to begin with but once he has had some time to settle, he will become relaxed and comfortable enough to greet and mix with them. Bowie and his brothers and sisters have been well socialised since coming into our care but further interaction will be necessary for them to become comfortable with change. They are meeting new people and mixing well with other dogs but allowing him time to feel comfortable in new situations will be important for him..
Their foster mum has taken them to a couple of puppy classes to introduce them to new dogs, people and environments. They are doing well and she is very proud of the way they are adapting to all of this exposure. Training and socialisation classes will be highly recommended for these pups to help them continue developing their confidence and social skills.
Regular walks, outings and exercise will be important for Bowie to offer him stimulation and prevent him becoming bored and destructive.
Considering his breed, Bowie is also seeking a home where he will have a canine companion of similar size and breed to offer him company while his family is busy. Staffy's are prone to separation anxiety and do not cope being left alone for long periods of time.
For this reason, a home with a desexed, outgoing companion will be given priority.
***Bowie has pale skin so we would also like to mention that sunscreen on hot days will be important to prevent him from being sunburnt***
We look forward to hearing from you and your current canine buddy if you have a special place in your home for Bowie

Adoption details
If you think one of our animals would be a good match for your home please email us and we will be in touch shortly after. We all work fulltime, have families and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
