About Jordy
Who could resist that adorable face??? But before you get taken in by his stunning good looks and big smile, read on!!!
Jordy is a 1 year old Samoyed X Chow Chow in need of a new or foster home. He has been well socialised and has lived with other dogs, so he would be suitable to go to a home where there is a doggy companion as long as they can tolerate his rough play. We are unsure how Jordy would be with cats or pocket pets, so to be safe he will need to go to a home where there are no smaller animals.
He still thinks he's a big puppy so is very energetic and boisterous, and he has some naughty mouthing behaviours that need to be worked on by the right owner who is prepared to be firm but fair with him and teach him the boundaries. Jordy is quite strong and will pull hard on lead, so he needs an owner who is familiar with stubborn arctic breeds, is prepared to do ongoing obedience training and include him in the family's activities. Any children in the family must be teens or older.
As with any arctic breed, Jordy will need strong 6 foot high fencing to keep him safe, and he must always be walked on lead as he can't be relied upon to come back when called.
