Thea is a 3 year old Jack Russell Terrier cross. She has a lot of love to give and is a perfect lap dog. Unfortunately Thea has had a very difficult start to life so she will need to go to a very understanding family that will give her the time to come out of her shell. She is currently in care at a home with 2 adults, 2 children above the age of 11 and 3 dogs (2 small and 1 mid-size). Although she is slowly learning how to play with her foster siblings, Thea came into care not having any idea how to socialise with other dogs. She is toilet trained and will sleep in her bed at night although she would be more than happy to share yours too if you let her! She would also need a safe place to go to if she finds the world around her too overwhelming. She would best suit a quiet home with no small children, someone who is home a fair amount or if you go to work, she would need another small calm doggie friend as a companion. She would also be fine as an only dog. She doesn’t require lots of exercise and is still learning how to walk on lead and has significantly improved since being with her foster family. She is slowly learning to enjoy her daily walks to the park. Thea is only just learning to trust humans and needs to continue to be shown that she will never be hurt again. If you decide to give Thea the chance to be a part of your family, she will reward you with lots of doggie kisses and will devote herself entirely to you.
