About Shadow
Without a Shadow of a doubt, we’ve got a lovely lad looking for a home. Meet Shadow, and handsome black and white boy who is three years old.
He’s grown up with children a babies and is very gentle and patient with them, and he’ll be the perfect husky for a number of types of households.
Shadow is very friendly, and loves to socialise and play at dog parks with new dogs. He has also lived with a male staffy for two years, with them getting along brilliantly. He loves people too and is laid-back and friendly.
Shadow has good manners and was trained by his previous owners as a puppy. He’s not bothered by thunderstorms and likes to prove how chill he is by standing out on the rain on occasion. Shadow gets a little excited at the start of his daily walks, but quickly simmers down and walks well on lead. He’s also not a barker.
Shadow is looking for a new furever home through no fault of his own. A change in family circumstances means he’s not getting the care and exercise he needs, so he’s digging and escaping out of boredom. This is a new thing, and we know that when he’s in the right household, this is likely to completely stop.
Shadow would love a home with a doggy mate of a similar size, and the usual husky rules apply with high, husky-proof fences, lots of exercise, and plenty of love. He doesn’t know what cats are, but we do recommend no cats or pocket pets. He’s got a lot of love to give and is a genuinely lovely boy, and we know he’s going to make a household very happy for a long time.
