About Winter ~ Cattle x puppy (on trial 10/3/19)
Winter is a female, 8 week old stumpy short tail cattle cross puppy, who loves to snuggle, socialise with her siblings while playing outside. Her playful nature and outgoing spirit is a joy to be around.
Winter is currently very small and will need to be welcome inside to play and sleep at least until fully grown with play periods outside.
Someone will need to be home while she is young, this is because she requires 3 meals a day and is too little to be left alone for long periods.
Due to her size, you will need good fencing with no small gaps. If you have rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire), she will need a playpen or small section to play in until she is older.
Winter has been well socialised with other puppies and loves to hang out with the other puppies in care. Another gentle older dog would be recommended to help her through life, however not essential.
Winter is currently living with 3 sisters - Autumn, Spring and Summer, who are also available for adoption.
This beautiful gentle girl will grow up to be a medium size dog and therefore will need a suitable yard, no court yards or townhouses. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
As Winter is not yet desexed, she will need to be returned to one of our vets for desexing when she is approximately 5 months old. Because of this we would prefer she was adopted within Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens.
For more information or to meet Winter, please contact her foster carer Renee on renee_gordon@yahoo.com.au. You can also fill out the adoption questionnaire via the link https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
Winter’s adoption fee is $550, which includes her desexing, microchipping, 1st and 2nd vaccinations, and current with all fleas and worm treatments.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:
https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
If there is a phone number listed in the dog's profile then you can also phone for more information.
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption. More details of our Adoption Procedure on our website: https://tinyurl.com/adoptproc
