About Spike
Spyke is just two, about 27kg and is a sweet boy, who needs a loving and gentle home to help build his confidence.
Spyke struggled to find a home in the shelter because when he met new people he would hide. Spyke is especially scared when he first meets men but he is so sweet he has never barked or growled, he simply hides. When shown a little patience and love, Spyke quickly learns he can trust you and will never hide from you again.
Spyke is currently in foster care, where he is learning to trust again. He’s enjoyed the company of his doggy foster brother, who he loves to play tug of war with, chase around the backyard like mad and cuddle up next to when it’s time to nap, and he does love his naps.
Spyke likes all dogs and has never shown any aggression to anyone. He needs a home with another dog to play with and keep him company as he does not like to be left alone.
Spike is a gentle and sensitive boy with a beautiful caring nature and is looking for a home who can show him the love and security he deserves. He would love a home where he can be inside and snuggle, with daily walks and play time.
Medical notes
Spike is on Anti Anxiety Medications from his Behaviourist Vet
