Tinsel ~ Border Collie X Staffy (on trial 9/3/19)

Tinsel is a 9 week old Border Collie X Staffy puppy and the largest girl of the litter. She is affectionate, always eager for attention and a big chewer, but she generally chews on her toys or kongs rather than furniture (though given a chance she will chew bare toes too). Tinsel was a worried about high pitched noises when she was younger, so would do better in a home without children. Tinsel is learning to use pee pads to toilet and is crate trained.

Tinsel is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. She's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with them.

Tinsel will grow up to be a medium dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.

Tinsel will need a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate as she would be too lonely on her own. It would also be good if someone in the household doesn't work full time.

Tinsel needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. She will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 5 years and older. You need good fencing with no small gaps. She can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

Tinsel’s siblings Jolly, Elf and Angel are also available for adoption.

As Tinsel is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
