Hi there, my name is Shelly

I am the sweetest GSP you will ever meet. Unfortunately there is still quite a lot for me to learn about being a dog, but with the right home I assure you I will blossom.

I am a social butterfly and love being with my companions. I can be shy at first and any sudden loud noises or strange objects may give me a little spook. I am still learning the concept of toys. I particularly enjoy being pampered with massages and have a motivation for treats. Although I am also very active.

My ideal handler will be someone with knowledge of the pointer breed and someone who can work on my confidence building. Another calm and confident dog would act as a great mentor for me.

I would love for my humans to take me to obedience training. Ongoing socialisation, plenty of exercise and mental enrichment is essential.

When you first meet me, you will notice that I'm on the skinny side. I have some much needed weight gaining so a home where I am allowed inside, and given lots of TLC is just what I need. I promise I will bring a lot of joy in to your world.

I've had a lump removed from my sternum since being at Lort Smith. Great news - it was benign and I'm as fit as a fiddle! However I will be adopted out with a disclaimer.
