About Lila 🐾 1.5yo mini foxy (On Trial 4/3/19)
Lila (short for Delilah) is a 1.5yo Miniature Fox Terrier. She's small at only 4.5kgs. She's very sweet and affectionate. Lila loves to be with her special people and will happily follow you around and keep you company. When you sit down, be prepared for a furry friend to join you. At night time she likes to sleep in a person's bedroom.
She is great with other small dogs 🐶 and will run around the garden playing with them. She's an active little girl who loves toys and chasing balls. She needs a daily walk. She likes exploring in the garden but mostly she likes to be inside with her foster mum and the four other little dogs.
Lila hasn't had any formal training but she is housetrained, will sit when asked and walks nicely on lead. She hasn't been off lead so we recommend she stay on lead until you've trained her to come running back to you every time you call. She is still very young and will soak up education like a sponge. She loves going in the car 🚗 and is well behaved. She isn't a nuisance barker. She's an inside dog.
Being still a young girl, she might help you with the gardening and dig a couple of small holes for you to conveniently fill with flowers 🌷. If you provide a sandpit for her, she should limit her gardening to her sandpit. 😊
Lila can be little bit shy and unsure when meeting new people for the first time but if you can resist touching her for 10 minutes, she will quickly be your friend and want to interact with you. Once she understands that you're gentle, she will be your loyal and loving companion for life .
Lila is great with children who are respectful and kind to her. Because Lila is so small, she's best with children 7 years and older.
Lila was surrendered by her owners through no fault of her own. She is a perfectly healthy, adorable young girl who is looking forward to starting her best life ❤️.
Lila needs a home where there is someone who doesn't work full time (part time is fine). She would like to have a small grassy yard to explore so isn't suited to apartment living but would be fine with a courtyard. She'd be happy to live with other small dogs. She hasn't met a cat 🐱 yet.
Lila's a young dog so needs someone able to commit to looking after her for the rest of her life, which could be 12years+.
