Hi, my name is Lola. I am a very cute, small Staffy x girl and I’m around 9 months old. I only weigh
11.5 kg and have a beautiful shiny low maintenance black coat. I strive to be the friendliest little girl. I am looking for my perfect family who would love a Staffy as much as I love humans of all sizes.
I presently live with a very active and excitable small dog and we like to tussle and play with tug toys, balls and soft toys. I am just as happy to be with my humans or hanging out alone sleeping quietly while my foster family are out. I enjoy playing in the garden as much as I love a leisurely walk each day. My very most favourite summer activities are getting in my wading pool or playing with the hose.
My perfect family would understand I want to give them all my love and attention when they return home after work or an outing. They would love to share their special time and home with me by letting me hang out during meal times and even just watching TV with the family. I am very well behaved when I get put in my crate at bedtime and will sleep all night for you. I’ve also been taught to sleep on a bed next to my humans. My car manners are really good as it makes me very happy to go for a drive with my people. I also have good manners around my food and will even share with another dog as I sit and wait until I’m told I can eat. I enjoy meeting new people and it makes me very happy to greet everyone with big kisses.
I’ve spent a few weeks resting and taking it easy after I had an accident with my back leg. Lucky for me, it was just a minor setback. All my vet reports now show I’ve healed really well and I’m a good girl who happily takes her joint supplements for ongoing future good health. I now show little evidence of ever having a had an injury.
I’m ready to find my perfect family, so if you are looking for a sweet, friendly little Staffy girl I would love you to put in an application for me. I look forward to meeting you soon,
Love Lola xx
Medical notes
Lola came into care after her owners surrendered her to the vet as they were unable to afford treatment after she was hit by a car. 2 months on with extensive crate rest, Lola is now available for adoption, she has required no surgery as she had only experienced soft tissue damage (no breaks or fractures). She is currently on joint supplements (Joint Guard Liver Treats Chews For Dogs) which she receives daily and will be sent to her new home with the remaining supplies. This is solely used as a preventative and her adopters may like to try another supplement for her in the future.
Lola has had the following vetwork completed:
~ Desexed
~ C5 Vaccinated
~ Microchipped
~ Heartworm Tested
~ Heartworm Treated
~ All-Wormed
~ Flea Treated
Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
Sorry we can’t take calls, as our rescue is run entirely by volunteers, but we endeavour to respond to your email within 24 - 48 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW. **
