About:
Bastet is a gorgeous ginger girl. Yes, you read it right, a little ginger girl! She gave her carers a surprise, who had planned a name for a ginger boy. But we think Bastet – the Egyptian cat goddess – fit this little cutie well.
Bastet started as the littlest sibling in her litter but has caught up to her sister. You wouldn’t be able to tell though, as her siblings are a bit fluffy and Bastet has her sleek ginger coat.
Bastet may be small, but she is mighty! She loves running around and is always up for exploring, as well as running around playing with her siblings or toys. And if you bring out a toy, oh my is Bastet ready to play! Running around she reeeeaaaally wants to catch that toy on the end of the string! Bastet also likes to show off her athletic prowess, and that just because she’s smaller, doesn’t mean she can’t reach those higher places. It just might mean she needs to think. She is known to scale a large telescope tripod in her room to be able to reach the high window ledge. She had her carers stumped for ages as to how she got up there!
Bastet is not all ‘go go go!’ Though. She’s always up for a cuddle, and especially when she’s relaxing she’ll snuggle up for a cuddle and purr her little heart out! She’ll even crawl into your lap or arms, purring and rolling around for belly rubs when she wants your love.
Bastet gets along really well with the other kittens and cats in her foster home, she was completely unphased when meeting them as she was more interested in exploring! But she quickly says hello back to the friendly cats and loves to play with anyone, sibling or friend! Bastet is untested with dogs in care. She is also untested with children but would be fine with older or sensible children.
