About Bruno ~ Foxy X Staffy (on trial 17/3/2019)
Meet Bruno, a cute 18 month old Foxy X Staffy boy. Bruno has a heart of gold, he just wants to love and play with his human companions. Bruno would be best described in one word as “cruisey”!
Bruno is a very relaxed and self-sufficient dog. He is currently an outside only dog but has started some house training and will be a suitable inside dog if his new owners wish. Bruno has already learnt to use a doggy door but will happily stay outside on his own whenever required. He is not a nuisance barker. Bruno is happy to be on his own, or in the company of other dogs, therefore he is suitable for a wide variety of potential forever homes.
Bruno loves to play. He will happily play zoomies and toy tossing games on his own, but will also play chasing, fetch and tug games with his foster sisters at his foster home. Bruno likes to play with a variety of toys and will need to go to a home with a firm commitment to enrich him with lots of different toys, regular attention and challenges like a kong toy and other chew toys.
Bruno walks well on a lead and will benefit from daily walks, obedience training and exercise. He sits, waits for his food and is attempting to master some other tricks. Bruno responds well to food rewards and should be easy to train for a committed owner. It’s important to note that Bruno is still a puppy and his attention span is a bit limited but his foster parents are sure this will get better with age and persistent training.
Bruno will be suitable for families of children of any age (he has been fine with children as young as 6 months of age). Bruno is not suitable for a home with any pocket pets or chickens as he sees them as toys. Bruno has been socialised with cats so should be fine to be adopted to a home with them.
Bruno is a very easy dog to care for and will thrive in a home where he will be challenged to learn, loved and welcomed into the family.
