About Bear ๐
This handsome little guy is Bear, our 1 year old Japanese Spitz x......He's energetic, lovable and super cute!
Bear is currently in care as an only dog which he seems quite happy about....he's more than happy to lap up all the attention he can from his foster carers. We are unsure how much socialisation Bear has had in his previous home but does not seem too keen on other dogs when he's on outings to the beach. The beach itself, he LOVES!
At this stage, Bear has not been tested with children but given the fact he likes to jump up when greeting his humans, a home with older children 10yrs + would be better suited. Bear will 'sit', 'lay down' and 'come' when called and does know 'off' (if he tries to take over your favourite lounge chair)!
Given that this little guy is energetic and playful, he would be better suited to a home with a decent size yard. He would certainly benefit from daily walks, although some lead work is needed.
Bear will adapt to various sleeping routines...he would be more than happy to share your bed of course, but also crate trained.
This gorgeous boy will have you laughing daily. He's an absolute character who loves a snuggle on the bed or couch, but also quite content to lay down on the floor to have a nap. Bear absolutely ADORES his toys, loves hanging out with his humans inside and is toilet trained.
Bear will need an experienced dog owner who can continue on with his training. He will also need time to settle into his new home and become familiar with the 'normal sounds' happening around him. He does seem to cope well when left on his own, but will need plenty of toys and mental stimulation to keep him occupied.
The Japanese Spitz tends to stay on alert. If their senses are triggered, they can show a lot of bravery and are capable of barking off strangers, though they will calm quickly around trusted humans. This active dog loves human attention and tends to be very loyal and affectionate.
Bear has had all his vet work done and now ready to find his forever home. He is located in Erina on the Central Coast, NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
