Hi, I'm Zazu, and I've been told my little floppy ears are just the cutest, especially when I run and they flip- flop about!
Toys are my favourite thing and you will often find me with my head in the toy basket trying to find a new toy to entertain myself with. If you leave me out some good treat toys to try and master I can entertain myself for hours and do great in the backyard when my humans are out at work. I do enjoy being inside of a night time and keeping you company whilst you relax on the couch and sneaking in a good belly and ear rub to end each day. I’m an excellent sleeper and happily sleep in my pen all through the night without a peep! I’ve mastered my toilet training and behave very well inside the house.
I'm very clever and have learnt to sit down before my meals, and to give a paw before I get my treats! I’ve only just had all my vaccinations so I’ve finally got to discover what the word ‘walkies’ mean, and I’ve been told I walk really well on the lead and listen well to any commands for such a newbie to this walkies thing! I love a good splash about at the beach and am super friendly and playful to all the other dogs I meet. I travel great in the car and often just curl up for a snooze whilst your driving. I’m also great with kids and love when my nieces and nephews come around on the weekend to play with me and give me cuddles, I lap up the attention.
I’m a bit camera shy and like to turn my head whenever foster Ma try’s to take a photo, but she promises me I am a real cutie patootie that is going to grow into a very handsome boy! So if your looking for a wonderful dog to keep you company and be a loyal companion then I'm your man and I'd just love to meet you soon!

Adoption details
~ ADOPTION PROCESS ~
STEP 1: An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
** PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT DO INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS ** We require all animals to have a meet & greet with their new family before they are officially adopted, no exceptions. If you are willing and able to meet the dog in person, we are happy to accomodate the adoption.
STEP 2: If successful, our foster carer will be in touch within 24-48 hours.
STEP 3: A 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
STEP 4: The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 4 hr round trip), we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
STEP 5: A 10 day trial period commences once the animal has been collected from the foster carer.
STEP 6: The Adoption is the finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email after this period. Please note this can take up to 4 weeks pending on the microchip paperwork.
