About Andrea
Andrea is a mini dachshund who is a lovely, happy girl and just happens to have a visual impairment, please do not let this dissuade you from considering Andrea for adoption.
Andrea just loves life, she adores being given pats and pick her up for a cuddle and she will snuggle into your neck. She enjoys exploring the yard, loves going for a walk, she just loves all those new smells and she is happy with a small walk, she is definitely not high energy.
Andrea is happy to play with other small gentle dogs and seems to quite enjoy sleeping inside a sleeping bag or up on my papasan chair outside, she has no problem hoping on and off things even with her impairment. She can manage a stair, but would not be able to manage a staircase. She can use the doggy door and is good with her toileting.
If you are looking for a dog to greet you with great enthusiasm and a wagging tail when you get home then Andrea is the girl for you.
Andrea is not suited to a home with cats.
Please take the time to meet with Andrea and not dismiss her because of her disability.
If you would like to meet Andrea she is located at Glenning Valley on the NSW Central Coast.
Medical notes
Andrea has a visual impairment, she is partially blind.
