Hi I’m Mitzy. I’m a happy friendly pup who likes to play but I’m also happy to just lie at your feet and hang out with my humans. My foster mum says I have ‘spunk’ but I’m not sure what she means by that.
I probably won’t grow to be a very large dog, my foster mum calls me Itsy Bitsy Mitzy.
Since I’ve been here I have been living with kids, chooks, ducks and other dogs. We have all been getting along well once we got to know each other. I don’t chase the chooks or ducks, but I do like to watch them quite closely. I love to play with my foster brother and I know to give the other old dog his space although he doesn’t mind when I snuggle up with him.
I sleep quietly in my crate at night and am quite relaxed in there, I don’t even have any accidents in there.
I am learning some basic commands, I am good at paying attention.
I would be suited to most homes although I would prefer older gentle children as I can get a bit nervous if they are being rough and busy. I would also like a doggy friend though if you are home a lot I may be OK without one.
