About Millicent
Hello, my name is Millicent, but you can call me Milly. My foster Mum calls me Mill Mills. I think she calls me that because she thinks I’m precious.
Everyone has a story, and mine story started out sad but I know things are on the up and up. A little while ago I was in the pound on death row with my four little babies. If you are a parent you would know how scared I was, not just for me, but my babies. I so loved my babies. 😢
Here is where my story takes a mega turn for the better. Silver Lining Pet Rescue came and saved us.
We went to a safe haven called a foster home. We got a lovely bed to sleep in and lots and lots of food. I didn’t have to worry anymore. I could just relax and be a Mum. After all that worry I can’t tell you how good that made me feel.
My foster Mum tells me how proud I made her with what a great Mother I was to my babies. She says what a sweet laid back young lady I am and how my eyes are as green as emeralds. (You can now see why I let her call me Mill Mills )
Now I am on the lookout for a home of my own. If I get a home of my own another homeless little one can take my place in my foster home and be safe.
Do you think I could come and live at your place ? Now my babies have grown I have so much love to give, and it would make my story have a very happy ending if I could give that love to you.

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks sometimes more, we do a revisit and see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
